The Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber’s 2025 Economic Forecast is scheduled 7 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at The Coeur d’Alene Resort.
Dr. John Mitchell and Sam Wolkenhauer will offer an analysis on economic trends, labor market dynamics and the broader social impacts affecting businesses and communities.
The discussion will also explore how the change in administration at the federal level may influence economic policies, business confidence, and market stability, according to a press release.
“Dr. Mitchell and Sam Wolkenhauer bring an engaging and insightful perspective that helps our business community plan for the future with confidence,” said Linda Coppess, chamber president and CEO.
Mitchell served as a professor of economics at Boise State University, while Wolkenhauer is an economist with the Idaho Department of Labor.
Jameson Smith, CEO of Kootenai Health, event presenter, said economic awareness is important for the region’s well-being:
