For the past 8 years, the CDA Regional Chamber and its valued partners have planned a special Independence Day celebration together. This annual 4th of July festival, presented by Numerica Credit Union, inspires gratitude, unity, and hope. With that in mind, we have made it our 2022 goal to engage our local community and reclaim the Spirit of America.
This “Spirit of America” is truly embodied by our residents, so our special day of activities will serve both locals and tourists alike – with a plethora of festivities for all to enjoy.
What’s New This Year
This year, we’re making a concerted effort to bring back the magic of our youth. Think parade floats, veterans, marching bands, equestrians, high school dance teams, and more! Our parade will even be led by a Grand Marshal – chosen from among the many nominations submitted by the community for this special role.
Thank you to all those who submitted nominations for the parade’s Grand Marshal. This, in combination with our poster contest, has been a fantastic way to involve more of our community members in all the fun. We’re so excited to unveil this year’s winning artist of the poster contest very soon!
How You Can Get Involved
There are several easy ways to get involved in this year’s celebration and WE NEED YOU! You can:
- Volunteer in one of many ways at the American Heroes Parade
- Enter a nostalgic float or your favorite civic group in the parade
- Sign up to be a vendor in the festival at the CDA City Park
- Attend the celebration in the park and bring your family for a day of fun
- Sponsor or donate to the fireworks fund
- Join us at the exclusive VIP 4th of July Party and view the parade and fireworks show from the CDA Regional Chamber building’s terrace, the best viewing spot in town
