The idea of a Chamber of Commerce can be traced back to the 1500’s in France, when chamber members collaborated to meet the needs of a collective group. While that initial objective remains, the chamber’s history has grown into serving unique business communities across the globe.
For 110 years, our Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber has embodied this tradition and as a result, has built an incredible legacy of serving the business community. Today, the needs of our members look a little different than they did 20, 10, or even 2 years ago. Because of the digital revolution, businesses now have a multitude of options available to them to help drive growth and connections. Member organizations must innovate to remain relevant in the modern world.
Our team at the CDA Regional Chamber has looked at trends, we have researched other member organizations and chambers, and we are evolving from a transactional approach to a transformational one, allowing us to better align our resources to match today’s opportunities.
