THANK YOU FOR A GREAT YEAR

Dear Chamber Members,

As I reflect on my time serving as Chair of the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber, I am filled with gratitude and pride for what we accomplished together in 2025. This was a year defined by impact, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to our community’s future. I’ve long believed that when businesses take care of their community, their community takes care of their businesses—and this year, we saw that truth come to life in powerful ways.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

One of the most meaningful highlights of this year was the unprecedented expansion of our Scholarship Program. Together, we supported 204 graduating seniors and 115 returning college students, awarding more than $350,000 in scholarships—the largest investment in education in our Chamber’s history. This extraordinary impact was made possible by the generosity of 60 incredible businesses, including the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, Northwest Specialty Hospital, ICCU, STCU, and many others who understand that investing in education is investing in a strong workforce and a thriving economy.

We also took important steps to strengthen the Chamber’s financial foundation. In 2025, we sharpened our financial focus, gained greater clarity across all six lines of business, and diversified revenue streams to ensure long-term sustainability. These strategic shifts position the Chamber to remain relevant, resilient, and strong in a changing business climate.

STRENGTH OF LEADERSHIP

This year also reminded us what true leadership looks like in moments of adversity. In the wake of the heartbreaking events of June 29, the Chamber stepped forward with compassion, coordination, and clarity. Our team and partners worked swiftly to support the community, ensure the safety and continuity of North Idaho’s largest annual event—the Fourth of July Celebration—and honor the men and women who serve and protect us. It was a powerful reminder that leadership is not just measured in moments of success, but in how we show up when our community needs us most.

Behind the scenes, the Board focused on responsible stewardship of the Chamber’s building—one of our most important community assets. Through a thoughtful evaluation, we began advancing strategies to maximize its use for the community while ensuring long-term maintenance and sustainability. Protecting this asset is essential to the Chamber’s future strength.

Our momentum continues to grow. We are proud to report that the Chamber now represents 995 members—and counting. In 2025 alone, we welcomed 125 new members, nearly doubling our membership over the past five years. This growth reflects the value of Chamber membership and the trust our business community places in this organization.

MEMBER ENGAGEMENT FOCUS

Finally, we made member engagement a top priority. Through committees, programs, and events, we created meaningful opportunities for businesses to connect, learn, lead, and promote their work—by strengthening the community we all share. Thousands of attendees participated across our events and gatherings this year, building relationships and momentum that extend far beyond any single program.

Thank you for your partnership, your belief in this Chamber, and for the opportunity to serve as your Board Chair. It has truly been an honor. I am confident the Chamber’s future is bright, and I look forward to continuing this journey alongside you—as a proud member of this remarkable business community.

With gratitude,

Tyrel Stevenson
2025 Chairman of the Board
